The amazing organisations who support World of Work are absolutely fundamental to what we do.

We work with an ever-growing, ever-changing group of employers; some on a regular basis, some on an on/off basis, and many are recruited for specific students. Plus, others support us in a variety of different ways, such as workplace visits and classroom sessions in school .

We work hard to match students with an employer and position that is right for them, and our approach is very flexible and tailored around what works for the both the organisation and the student, for example; type of work, length of placement, support required from our team. These elements may also change and develop as the student progresses.

We aim to make it as easy as possible for employers to work with us, providing support and training to the organisation, as required, and offering on-site support and job-coaching for the student.

The main formal requirement needed for an organisation to offer work experience is that they have up-to-date Employer’s Liability Insurance. All work experience is covered under this (as long as it is in line with the normal practises of the business).

In our best-case scenarios, a student may ultimately join the workforce as a paid employee - a great outcome for both the individual and the organisation.
