This weekend saw several intrepid runners from The Castle School and HI-5 Runners take on the elements and run a 2.7mile route on our school track at Love Lane and the surrounding area. The challenge was to cover the route as many times as possible between 7am and 7pm. 

In total, our staff team covered an amazing 177 miles (286 km). That's the same distance as from Newbury to York or Truro!

The distances covered are incredible and are:

James - 84.89km - 52.75 miles

Cassy - 53.11km - 33 miles

Charles - 44.14km - 27.42

Kate - 43.55km - 27 miles

Jayne - 43.55km - 27 miles

Emily - 17.64km - 10 miles

The event was kindly organised by Suzi and Chris Clacy from Hi-5 Runners in Thatcham. A huge thank you to them. The money raised for The Castle amounted to £800!
