What is Enterprise?

As part of World of Work and the wider curriculum, we encourage our students to devise and participate in their own business ideas, creating products and services that they can sell within and outside of school.

Past products that have been produced on a small scale have included bath bombs in hand-made bags and cookie-mix jars, plus an in-school café and a car washing service.

      

Castle Crafts Market Stall

Newbury Town Council offers the opportunity for schools to run a pop-up stall from time to time, during the Thursday market.

We held a Christmas-themed market stall, selling products created at school, and manned by students from across many of our classes.

It was a great success, and we plan to do more of these in the future.
